After it has healed it is sturdy enough to support a crown. When complete it is a completely natural looking tooth replacement. Implants are designed to last for a lifetime.

There are many reasons to choose a dental implant over a fixed bridge or removable partial denture. Implants have a high success rate, create less risk to surrounding teeth, and there are no unsightly hooks or clasps, or adhesives. Because they help maintain bone, they can help prevent a sunken facial appearance.
