CEREC

When a tooth is broken or weak due to an extensive filling or decay, it is normally restored with a crown. That means removing the decay, existing filling and enamel from the entire circumference of the tooth, taking impressions, placing a temporary crown, and having the patient return to the office in a week or two to place the permanent crown.

CEREC has revolutionized the way we create and apply ceramic restorations, including crowns, onlays and veneers. This amazing system takes a digital image of your tooth and then mills a custom restoration from a solid ceramic block in just a few minutes. We can then place the restoration as soon as it’s done. There is no impression, no temporaries, no waiting for a lab to make and send the restoration and no second visit; we value your time!
